Directions for Use

  • Before testing your blood sugar level, wash your hands thoroughly to avoid contamination of the test strip or the meter.
  • Turn on Dr. Morepen glucometer and insert a new test strip into the meter, according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Use a lancing device to obtain a small drop of blood from the tip of your finger. You can adjust the depth of the lancing device to make it less painful.
  • Touch the tip of the test strip to the blood drop, making sure that enough blood is drawn into the test strip to fill the small window.
  • Dr. Morepen glucometer will process the blood sample and display the blood sugar level on the screen. Wait for the reading to appear, usually within a few seconds.
  • Write down the blood sugar level and the date and time of the test. You can use a log book or a smartphone app to keep track of your results.
  • Dispose of the used test strip and the lancing device according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Wipe the meter with a clean, dry cloth.
